WPBN NBC 7 Traverse City: U.S. Senator Gary Peters holds telephone town halls to answer coronavirus questions

Residents will be able to get their questions answered about the coronavirus during two telephone town halls being held by U.S. Senator Gary Peters.

During the town halls, Peters will discuss the recently enacted Coronavirus, Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act and resources available to workers, families, small businesses and medical professionals.

“As Michiganders face unprecedented challenges because of the Coronavirus pandemic, I’m doing everything possible to help support families, workers, small businesses and our hospitals and health care professionals on the front lines,” Senator Peters said. “I hope that Michiganders will join one of our telephone town halls to hear an update on the federal resources they can access during this crisis, and I look forward to answering their questions.”

The town halls will be held on the following days:

  • Tuesday, March 31 at 4:45 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 1 at 4:45 p.m.

If you would like to join one of the town halls, you must sign up online.
