Peters to Hold Telephone Town Halls on Coronavirus Tuesday and Wednesday

DETROIT, MI – U.S. Senator Gary Peters (MI) announced he will hold Telephone Town Halls on TUESDAY, MARCH 31st at 4:45 PM and on WEDNESDAY, April 1st at 4:45 PM to provide an update on his efforts in the Senate to help Michiganders impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic and answer their questions. He will discuss the recently enacted Coronavirus, Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act and resource available to workers, families, small businesses and medical professionals.

“As Michiganders face unprecedented challenges because of the Coronavirus pandemic, I’m doing everything possible to help support families, workers, small businesses and our hospitals and health care professionals on the front lines,” Senator Peters said. “I hope that Michiganders will join one of our telephone town halls to hear an update on the federal resources they can access during this crisis, and I look forward to answering their questions.”  

Michiganders interested in joining a Telephone Town Hall must visit peters.senate.gov to sign-up. Please note that to join Tuesday’s Telephone Town Hall, Michiganders must RSVP by 8 p.m. Monday and to join Wednesday’s Telephone Town Hall Michiganders must RSVP by 8 p.m. Tuesday.
