Project Purpose: To expand the Capital Regional International Airport’s (LAN) International existing cargo ramp.

Recipient Name: Gerald R. Ford International Airport Authority
Project Purpose: To implement safety upgrades to support the expansion of the airport.

Corridor Revitalization Project - City of Sterling Heights

Recipient Name: City of Sterling Heights
Project Purpose: This funding would be used to acquire underutilized properties within the City’s North Van Dyke Avenue Corridor Improvement Area for future development goals.

Dowagiac Housing Initiative
Recipient Name: City of Dowagiac
Project Purpose: This project would fund the Dowagiac Housing Initiative to improve neighborhoods and update the quality of housing for low-to-moderate income homeowners. The funding would also cover demolition expenses of homes that are vacant and blighted.

Expansion of the Ypsilanti Transit Center
Recipient Name: Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority
Project Purpose: To conduct pre-construction activities for the expansion of the Ypsilanti Transit Center.

Grandville Avenue Project
Recipient Name: City of Grand Rapids
Project Purpose: To rebuild Grandville Avenue in Grand Rapids.

Jim Crow Museum, Archive, and Research Center
Recipient Name: Ferris State University
Project Purpose: This funding would be used to expand the Jim Crow Museum, Archive, and Research Center’s physical facilities and programming offerings to fufill the museum’s mission to “use objects of intolerance to teach tolerance and promote social justice.”

Michigan Avenue Corridor Improvement
Recipient Name: City of Lansing
Project Purpose: To modernize traffic signals and implement signal communications that will enable transit priority, emergency vehicle pre-emption, and special event timing plans, and also establish a framework to support autonomous and connected vehicles.

Mound Road/Detroit Arsenal Connector Project
Recipient Name: Macomb County
Project Purpose: To conduct planning and final design of the Mound Road/Detroit Arsenal Connector Project, which is a part of a larger project to reconstruct 9 miles of Mound Road.

Phoenix Center Renovation
Recipient Name: City of Pontiac
Project Purpose: This funding would be used to restore the facility for public use and enjoyment and to promote economic development in the downtown district. Specific uses include structural and access repairs, roof and elevator replacements, electrical equipment improvements, and ADA compliance upgrades.

South Westnedge Avenue Reconstruction

Project Purpose: To reconstruct portions of South Westnedge Avenue.

Traverse City Sewer and Water Facility Improvements to Support Affordable Housing Development

Recipient Name: Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians
Project Purpose: This project would fund the development of a sewer and water facility to support a much needed residential housing development to serve low and moderate income tribal members facing difficulties securing affordable housing, overcrowding or homelessness in Grand Traverse County.

Ypsilanti Train Station
Recipient Name: City of Ypsilanti
Project Purpose: To construct a new platform to re-establish a scheduled Amtrak stop on the Wolverine Line along the live track in Depot Town, City of Ypsilanti, Michigan.
