“As Muslims mark the start of the holy month of Ramadan, I want to wish Ramadan Kareem to all those recognizing this special time as a period of prayer, charity and good deed. Ramadan is more than fasting from sunrise to sunset – it is a critical period to reflect on the blessings in life and face challenges with compassion and a kind spirit. At a time when we face serious challenges domestically and abroad, may this sacred time bring about a greater peace and empower us to achieve a lasting wellness for future generations.”
